I regularly suffered from anxiety and felt like I was constantly in fight or flight mode. I’ve found hypnosis to be very effective and helpful. I’ve noticed a more positive attitude and less anxious thoughts. I’ve actually been a bit more focused and cut down on the time it takes me to do my extension bead work-stitch work, so I’m thinking that means I’ve been less distracted by my own thoughts while working. I experienced a traumatic flight 8 years ago and was barely able to get on a single flight (within the last 8 years). I was a smoker for 24 years and had tried to quit smoking using various different methods and techniques. None of them worked, until I did hypnosis. After only one hypnosis session I quit smoking. It’s only been one week and I feel better already. I had a few cravings for the first few days, but now it has just kind of slipped my mind.

Before hypnosis I suffered from Tinnitus and didn’t know what to do. It was a huge part of my life and I was living a pretty crappy life. I figured I had to do something. I was turned onto hypnosis and decided to give it a try.
After four sessions, I can say that it has actually helped me. The noise has gone from just killing me and being at 100%, down to about 10-20% after hypnosis and using the tools I’ve been given. I was able to reframe the sounds and allow tinnitus to not define me and to let me live my life. I can put it in the background now and not have it control me and tell me what I’m able to do on any given day. I tell it what to do now, and I will do that for the rest of my life!

After one session of Multi Channel Eye Movement Integration (MEMI) I was able to pick up something with dead bugs on it without tensing up and I feel hardly anxious at all thinking of encountering a dead animal or bug in the future. Seeing dead things is something that is common in day to day life and I am so relieved to no longer have a fear of it looming over me.

I came in to work on weight loss through hypnosis, but I was also dealing with a lot of mental angst, negative thoughts and frustration.
The main thing is that it’s helped to quiet the thoughts in my head and make me feel back in control of me and my physical self. I now exercise regularly and eat clean and healthily so my clothes are fitting better. I’m also drinking more water and have eliminated lattes from my diet (which I used to have a lot). I’ve learned self-hypnosis which has helped me expand the use into other areas as well.
Hypnosis helps me with sleeping and relaxation, has made me feel more positive overall in mood, and has given me a place to start when dealing with life’s difficulties. Ricky at Edmonton Hypnosis solutions is amazing! I have seen her for 2 separate reasons over the years. Both times have been outstanding results for me. I suffered from anxiety and low confidence. I was not able to forgive or let go of the past. I also drank too much.
Since using hypnosis, the anxiety has improved greatly. When it happens it is for a minimal amount of time. I do not dwell on the past or let things upset me for long periods of time. I now have more confidence and it helps me to complete projects quicker.

Before hypnosis I went 7 years without blood work or any needles in general. Whenever a doctor suggested blood work I would say, “No thanks” and would tear up the paper (even if I really needed it). When I did go for blood work, I was often fighting nurses and being held down.
I started using hypnosis when I got pregnant as I need needles and I go for IV fluids quite often now. I no longer fight or cry. I lay down and talk calmly to the nurses who are doing the needle. I’m calmer and I’m able to go into hospitals now without worrying about what they will do to me.

Prior to experiencing hypnosis I had been experiencing chronic hip pain for over 2 years, despite many efforts made. I had tried everything allopathic medicine had to offer and felt that I also exhausted all alternative medicine and therapies with little to no lasting relief.

I was a smoker for 20 years and tried to quit many times before. Hypnosis provided me with the support and tools to reach my goals in a way that was successful for me, and less stressful for those around me. I can be resistant to change, and can behave aggressively, even if I know the change is for my own good. However, with hypnosis, this wasn’t an issue. Honestly, there wasn’t any stress or negative emotions with quitting smoking, like I had experienced in the past when attempting to quit. And, I didn’t replace one bad habit with another, which was a surprise to me. I am 60 years old and I was a fairly heavy smoker for years. I drive truck for a living and smoked while driving out of boredom. Since I’ve quit, my health has improved immensely.
